Alpha Green has fewer than 45 children, from Playgroup to Kindergarten 2. We keep it that way so that every teacher knows your child, and you always know who is looking after them.

In a school this size, teachers know the children in every class, not only their own, and the children know them.
Settling in at their pace
For the first two or three days, your child stays until after lunch. Where you can, wait nearby, and our Principal will call you back in if your child needs you. Some children are ready for a full day by day two. Others take longer, and that's fine.

Getting here
We arrange school transport through an appointed operator, and the school covers part of the cost. Most children travel by car with one or two others heading the same way, rather than on a long bus loop.
Journeys are kept to around 30 minutes in normal conditions. Where we can, the same driver does the morning and afternoon run, so your child sees a familiar face twice a day.
Whether we can serve your address depends on who else is travelling in that direction, so tell us your postcode and we'll give you a straight answer and a price.

Frequently asked questions
Does my child need to speak English already?
No. Children who are new to English get support through our English Language Support programme.
Which second language should we choose?
Usually the language spoken at home, or the one your child will need later. We're happy to talk it through on the tour.
Which ages do you take?
18 months to 6 years, from Playgroup to Kindergarten 2. Tell us your child's birth month and when you'd like them to start, and we'll tell you when a place is available.

Can my child come for half days?
Yes. Half days, 7am to 1pm, are available for Playgroup and Nursery 1. Ask us on your tour how it would work for your child.
We're still overseas. Can we see the school?
Yes, by WhatsApp video call. We walk you through the rooms and garden live, and you ask questions as we go.
How much are the fees?
We'll send you the current fees on request, through the short form or directly on WhatsApp.
Where are you?
1 Jalan Siap, Upper Bukit Timah, a short walk from Hillview MRT. The last stretch is uphill, which the children never mind.
